Biography
Bachelor in Genetics in 2004 at National University of Misiones and, Ph.D. degree at Buenos Aires University in 2017. A researcher at Virology Institute (at INTA) from 2005 to date. Several published works in equine infectious disease as equine Rotavirus, Bovine Coronavirus, Equine Herpesvirus, Influenza virus, and WNV. Training in genomic and full genomes sequencing in Katholic University of Leuven (2011) and, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Liege (2012), both in Belgium. Talent fellowship obtained (2015) at the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Science, working into the Harbin Veterinary Research Institute (Harbin city, Heilongjiang province, PR of China).
Research Area
Currently working in the study of the evolution and spread of viral pathogens that affect different animals species. Also, establishing a service for genetic monitoring focused in genetic quality of laboratory mice and rats and, identity analyses of cell lines.
